Two for One! Hen House and Target Grocery Deals!

Target:
Total: $2.07!! The trial stuff all had coupons. I got 50 cents overage on both the Alls. The Superstay was marked down to $1.98 because the clear part was ripped open. No damage to the makeup though! :-D

Hen House:

This is probably my best shopping trip so far! Total should have came to $54.24, but after I finished, it was $9.93! That's an 82% savings!! The mustards, Lucky Charms, and Frostings were all free. Veggies were .07 cents each! I love double coupons! :-D

Where do you get most of your coupons?

Every coupon I had came from the Sunday papers in the Kansas City area. The security guard at work sometimes will give me his extras a week or two later. :)

Sheer Luck-

I'm in the KC area too. How do you like shopping at Hen House? Any challenges with using coupons there? With Dillon's closing, I'm am contemplating shopping at Hen House for doubles but I heard they won't double on sale ad items.

thx!

ok... just saw your Target deal. I cannot find the trial size All Small & Mighty at the Targets I go to (in JOCO)... where did you find yours? I have about 20 coupons that would get me free ASM!

I seriously love Hen House for everything. Most of the non-sale stuff is pretty pricey. I've never had a complaint on their produce or fish. As far as coupon use goes, I've never been given a hassle. I haven't tried using internet/printed coupons, so I can't give advice on that.

Which Dillon's is closing? I've only been to the one near Shawnee-Mission Parkway. I've seen there is one in Leavenworth, but both are quite a drive for me.

As far as the trial sizes at Target. I went to the one off Barry Rd/I69 and they had it right under the pharmacy. If you walk in and turn left toward the laundry detergent, keep going. It's to the left before you get to the electronics. By the HBA stuff.

Xposted to your blog in case you don't check back.

Thanks for the info on Hen House. I'll definitely have to check it out!

ALL of the Dillons in Johnson County will be closed by 4/1/08. They will either close and not reopen or reopen as Price Chopper, ick.

I looked for the All Small & Mighty in the trial sections at a couple Targets... no luck yet. Might try the smaller Targets to find 'em.

thx
